Northeast Missouri FoodFest

Northeast Missouri FoodFest

The FoodFest is an annual celebration of local food, held in conjunction with the Kirksville Farmer’s Market and co-sponsored by Truman State University Agricultural Science, University of Missouri Outreach and Extension, and the Kirksville Chamber of Commerce.  The FoodFest began in 2001 and the next FoodFest will occur on Saturday September 20, 2003 on the square in downtown Kirksville.
Events at the FoodFest include a local foods cookoff, vegetable contests, door prize drawings, kids’ activities, displays and food samples from area farmers, and a sustainable farm-community model.
